Its been a while...

Hey Guys! I'm back! Sorry I have not been around for a while...I have been in jail!....ONLY JOKING! Actually I have been setting up and building the new studio in Crewe Cheshire. We are called Arena Studio and are a full professional studio aiming to service the music business in all aspects of audio work! We have recently had a few solo performers in the studio and we also last weekend, had a great rock band from Northwich called IGNITION recording their ep They are a really great band and if you get the chance check them out!!! The whole session went according to plan and we recorded 7 tracks in just under 3 hrs! We use a technique called "Recording on the floor" which means we record your band how you practice...ALL TOGETHER! his gives a great live vibe to the tracks and is a lot quicker than the conventional method of layering each track! We still have the capabilities to drop in on any errors without the band having to get the perfect take!and also layer any further tracks if needed! The out shot of all this is you end up with more mix and mastering time which creates a far better recording and sets you apart from the normal demo's that get put through our labels door!www.craggstar.com If you are thinking about recording in the future don't just go to the nicest or biggest studio....pick the one that can give you what you need and get yourselves more bang for your buck!
